My name is Evelyn, and I’m the proud grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren.
A few years ago, I began to notice that my hearing was gradually deteriorating.
At first, it was the subtle sounds of nature that I missed… my morning walks used to be peppered with the gentle rustling of leaves, the trickling of water in the nearby creek, and the melodic songs of birds — “little signs of life”, I called them.
But over the years, those “little signs of life” started going silent. My morning walks started to feel empty and lifeless, and I eventually stopped taking them completely.
